My school's name is Maquatua Eeyou School which means River People School (the community lies on the mouth of the Maquatua River which feeds into James Bay, and "Eeyou" means "people" in Cree)
It is pronounced: "Mo-gah-doe Ee-yew" - figure that one out!!
