This is going to be a quicky just to let you all know that Carmen and I arrived safely in Wemindji after roughly 7.5 hours and over 600km of driving on roads that were reminiscent of roller coasters!!!
We managed not to blow any tires, crack any windows with chunks of gravel flung by oncoming traffic AND my muffler stayed intact!!
After unpacking the car, having a quick bite and exploring each other's new homes, Carmen and I were royally pooped. Hopefully I will have Internet set up ASAP and I can post "before" pictures of my home as well as pics from the road!
